This message from a very gracious and kind young man really made my day:
"Mr. Scott,
Thank you so much for everything you did today at fine arts. Your speech was so inspirational and motivating for every single person in the audience. I know you most likely hear all of that over and over again, so I wanted to thank you for something other than that.
Thank you for allowing me to be your host at the high school. As I introduced you to the crowd, I felt like I should be cherishing the moment. I later realized why that is. The work you continually do to impact peoples lives and put them on the right track is so selfless. That is one of the many reasons I now look up to you. I hope you enjoyed everyone at school....Like you said, someone you don't even know can walk into your life and have a major impact. Well for me, Mr. Scott, you are that person."
