"Please pray for us. It is horrible!" These words were sent to me from my friend and classmate, Lami, who received the following email from her husband:
"Dear Friends....21 houses in a village call Renwyanku in Miango district was attacked and destroyed. 21 houses, killing five families. This village is near Lami's village, my wife. Pray for God's mercy and safety for us. Recently they have been using young people on motorbike to shoot people and ride away without any one finding them. Please pray that God will strengthen us...I will be visiting the affected village to see if there is any help I can render. Love you."
I really need to be studying right now, but I could not focus because of this burden on my heart for those men, women, and children in Nigeria who today have just lost their homes, and have lost their lives.
Please pray for those families in Nigeria, and around the world, who are being persecuted for their Christian faith.
